April saw some sunshine returning which is more conducive with our sport of golf. Whilst we did have a few rain days, and days where that carts were off the course, over all we returned to profit which is pleasing. Our year to date cash profit is already above our full year target of $216 000 with two months to go.

Dave and the course staff have been working hard to get the course back to our high standards, and it seems to have paid off. The greens are in much better shape and compared to some other courses I think we are fairing quite well.
In the food and beverage department we have launched our new winter menu and weekly specials. The kiosk is open daily from 6am in the pro shop. It is now serving cooked to order bacon and egg rolls, along with your favourite coffees. Our coffee sales have doubled in the pro shop and we have just started a marketing campaign to drive sales even further.
We have also updated our till system. This is making it easier for our staff to perform their roles. Now you will need to present your card to receive discounts. No card, No discount. As it is renewal time you will also need to present your card when going past the office.
