In accordance with Article 44 of the Articles of Association of Gosford Golf Club Limited:
“No person shall be eligible to become or to continue to be a Director unless the person is a Life Member, Life Subscription Member, financial 7 Day, 6 Day or 5 Day member, Senior 7 Day, Senior 6 Day, Senior 5 Day or Intermediate Member of the Club.”
In accordance with Article 42 (e) of the Articles of Association of Gosford Golf Club Limited:
“At each general meeting held while the triennial rule is in force (other than the first such meeting) the number of members required to fill vacancies (other than casual vacancies) on the Board shall be elected and shall, unless otherwise disqualified hold office for three (3) years.”
NOMINATIONS ARE THEREFORE NOW OPEN FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
VICE PRESIDENT (ONE (1) REQUIRED (3 year term)
DIRECTOR (ONE) (1) REQUIRED (3 year term)
DIRECTOR (ONE) (1) REQUIRED (1 year term)
All new Directors will be required to complete the ClubNSW Directors training.
The Board of Directors is seeking persons with appropriate skills from professions such as business, management, law, accounting, public administration and marketing
In accordance with Article 47.(a) of the Articles of Association of Gosford Golf Club Limited:
“Except as hereinafter provided nominations for election to the Board shall be made in writing signed by two (2) Life Members, Life Subscription Members, financial 7 Day, 6 Day or 5 Day members, Senior 7 Day, Senior 6 Day Senior 5 Day or Intermediate Members of the Club entitled to attend and vote at General Meetings and by the nominee who shall state the office or offices for which the nominee is nominated.”
ALL NOMINATIONS MUST BE ON THE PRESCRIBED NOMINATION FORM
WHICH IS AVAILABLE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CLUB.
NOMINATIONS SHALL BE LODGED AT THE OFFICE OF THE CLUB BY:
5pm Wednesday 6th SEPTEMBER 2017
In accordance with Article 47.(d) (iii) of the Articles of Association of Gosford Golf Club Limited:
“If the number of candidates nominated shall exceed the number required to be elected, a ballot shall be taken PRIOR to the Annual General Meeting as provided by
By-Law provided that the ballot shall be counted by a Returning Officer and two or more scrutineers appointed by the Board.”

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd October 2017 at 7pm in the club house
